DMDMH, or Dimethyl Dimethylol Hydantoin, is a preservative, commonly used in detergent based formulations because it combines the benefits of broad spectrum antimicrobial activity with the ease of liquid handling. Within this product, DMDMH is non-irritating to eyes, skin and mucous membranes, retains its activity between pH 3-8 and is compatible with most personal care ingredients.
